The World Rowing Cup III, held in Poznan, Poland, from June 14 to 16, 2024, showcased the remarkable performance of Filippi boats across multiple events. On the first day, Filippi boats won an impressive 23 out of 41 heats, representing 51% of their total entries. This success translated directly into the finals, with 15 Filippi boats securing places in the “A” finals for Olympic classes. Teams from Ireland, Australia, Croatia, Norway, New Zealand, France, Romania, the Netherlands, and Ukraine were among those who excelled in their respective categories. In the Paralympic classes, 10 Filippi boats also advanced to the “A” finals, setting the stage for a strong showing in the concluding races.
As the finals concluded on the serene waters of Malta Lake, Filippi boats continued to dominate, winning 32 medals across both Olympic and Paralympic events. Notably, the New Zealand team, heavily relying on Filippi boats, topped the medal table, underscoring the brand's competitive edge. Despite some teams opting to prepare for the upcoming Olympic Games elsewhere, Filippi boats still clinched 9 gold medals in Olympic classes. Australia, Ireland, and France contributed significantly to this tally, securing wins in various events. Paralympic victories were highlighted by British rowers, including Ben Pritchard in the PR1 men’s single scull and the undefeated PR2 mixed double crew.
The final medal count reflected Filippi’s dominance, with 58% of all medals being won in their boats. This included 12 golds, 14 silvers, and 13 bronzes, totaling 39 victories out of 67 events. As the rowing community looks ahead to the Paris Olympics, Filippi boats have solidified their reputation for excellence and reliability.
